This is a thorough examination of your pet's physical condition performed at every visit. This is aimed at detecting any potential health issues that may require attention. Your sitter will examine the pet's body condition, skin and coat, eyes, ears, nose, mouth, teeth, gums, and claws. We will also check for any lumps, bumps, or abnormal masses, and assess the pet's gait and mobility. We also monitoring their respiratory and cardiovascular function. By doing this we can identify any potential health issues early on and seek prompt medical attention if needed, ensuring the pet's health and well-being while you are away.
Yes, we require a consultation before the start of your first service. We will discuss your pet's needs and the specific services that will be customized to you. We will get to know your pets and their surroundings while asking you questions about your pet's behavior and preferences. We will then verify and discuss the dates and times of service, discuss payment options, and update any missing information in our client system.
Yes. There is an 18$ consultation fee.
At the time of your consultation, we require that you provide two sets of keys to your home. We do this to ensure that the pets are cared for in case the primary key is lost, damaged or unavailable. It provides flexibility in scheduling and helps avoid any disruption to the pet sitting service.
One key is kept with the sitter, while the other key is kept in a locked box. Keys are only identified by our numerical system and never have your identifying information on them.
You can give us the code to your home, but we still require two keys, in case the lock malfunctions.
At the end of your service, there are many ways to get your key back. You can have them dropped off to you for an 18$ fee, pick them up from MFPS, or have them mailed to you.
We will also maintain your keys for you in our lock box free of charge. Clients especially like this when they lock themselves out of their own house.
Yes, there is a 5$ fee per services before 7am and after 7pm and during peak holiday date ranges.
